Meghann Ormond is Associate Professor in Cultural Geography at Wageningen University & Research. A human geographer, Meghann's research focuses on the intersections of transnational mobility, health, disability and care. She is interested in the transnational healthcare practices of economic and organisational migrants, 'medical tourists/travellers' and lifestyle migrants. Her work offers insight into how shifting visions and practices of citizenship and belonging transform social and economic development agendas and impact healthcare systems.
